very nice, famous and encient shiv temple.nSomnath Temple is a very famous Hindu temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located at Kailashpuri in Deoria and is known for its magnificent architecture. On Monday, Lord Shiva is worshiped along with his superior half goddess Parvati and Shivalinga. People visit this temple to seek blessings for better life and mental peace. Lord Ganesha is also worshiped in the temple premises.nnAlmost all the festivals in this temple are celebrated with a set of rituals. The festival of Shivaratri is grandly celebrated with grandeur and enthusiasm. The atmosphere of the temple brings peace to the heart and mind for the devotees and tourist destinations. This magnificent pilgrimage center lmage also arranges for fifteen days of fair every year at the time of Mahashivaratri festival. A festival (fair) has been organized by local devotees and organizers to celebrate this big festival annually. On this night, the devotees fast and do not eat anything till night and offer fruits, flowers and vine leaves on the Shiva Linga. People believe that Lord Shiva was married to Parvati Maa on this holy day.
