The most insensitive and non-cooperating staff and management ever experienced. Given the covid-19 situation, they didn't even care to understand a legit reason citing all sorts of reasons to not even consider re-scheduling the bookings. However on the contrary they want a booking payment in 24 hrs of booking but for any change you need to inform 30 days in advance. Hypocrisy at its next level.nnI would seriously ask everyone to re-consider any booking at this property. I am sure there are better properties who would help provide a much better experience. Kindly stay away from this property, however tempted you would be by looking at their pics.nnIts a humble advise to all my friends to not fall prey to the unprofessional bunch of staff and Sr.Management.nnJust stay away !! Check other properties, you will have a much better experience. !!

What a lovely, romantic place, straight from an era long gone but one that has left behind opulence and luxury in its truest sense!nnThe arched walls, high ceilings, wooden flooring, massive rooms are all exclusivities at the Singtom Tea Estate that reminded me of the good old days that I had read about and seen in movies.nnThe management has coupled these USP's with modern services and amenities such as fusion + organic + locally sourced food, outstanding cars (that we used each day) with superbly trained drivers, high-tech payment systems, and 4 different sources of heating in our rooms (we stayed in May 2021 when it is usually not that cold but it was very cold because of rain). They give you oil heaters, live fires, electric heaters as well as electric bed warmers that really, seriously warm you up - brilliant!nnOverall, a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!!

Singtom Tea Estate and Resort is one of the best places we stayed near Darjeeling. Location wise, the place is simply great - not too far from Darjeeling, yet totally away from the crowd of Darjeeling. The best part of the place is that it is located in the middle of tea gardens with a mind-blowing view of the mountain ranges.nThe hospitality we received there is simply amazing. We never felt away from home. The food was unique with a number of fusion dishes to try. And of course, there were pots of Darjeeling Tea.nThe Resort provides several tours like the Factory tour, Tea Tasting Tour and Picnic with a great view of the Kanchenjunga ranges. The picnic was just perfect while the tea tasting tour opened our eyes to various types of teas. Overall, it was a great stay at Singtom Resort.

Stay at the Singtom Tea Estate and Resort was simply amazing. The property, hospitality and the entire area surrounded by the tea gardens were simply impressive.nThe resort, built in 1862 had all the colonial and old-world charm. The wooden floor, quaint fireplaces and long corridors and the breathtaking views from the windows definitely added to the beauty of the place. The hospitality we received there was amazing. The Resort Manager was courteous and helpful. He was quite knowledgeable about the tea industry and gave us a tour to the factory. He also guided us through the tea-tasting tour.nThe Resort also provides a few activities like the tea tasting tour, factory visit, trekking and 360-degree point picnic.
