The only college in the surroundings. Vivekananda Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya is the only colenge in Manikpara under the Vidyasagar University. The area is huge and it provides good education. Also, the college have NCC and NSS department, which is the main attraction for the students. Overall, it is a great college and provides quality education.

Nicely located rural general degree college is situated in a calm quiet lush green environment and in the heart of Manik para ,also on the side of the village road, communication is not so good.Infrastucture and buildings are good with vast campus and a playground adjacent to it. The college is at present imparting education to the students of degree Arts and science with Hons. and all the courses are affiliated to the Vidyasagar University. The college campus is accessible to all sorts vehicles through the main gate.

Its a nice place for education but needs more upgread.

It's the only college in the radius of 25Km.Situated in the lap of nature, it is slowly improving .
