One of the most important educational institutions, for the womans of this region.nnThis institution is run by the government and therefore, except certain minimal charges for examination and admission, no other fees are usually charged.nnLocated just beside airport road, it is easily accessible from all over the region, through various means of transport.nnThe environment around the campus is spectacular, with lush green forest, and beautiful sceneries.nnThe academic environment is also conducive and the incident of ragging or otherwise are rarely seen.nnThe boarding facilities are also provided at a reasonable charge, but is limited to the member of the recognised underprivileged communities.nnThe college imparts education upto post graduation level, in english and other regionel language. It is recognised under UGC, government of India.

Santal Pargana Mahila College established on 14th December 1967. The college was granted affiliation by the then Bhagalpur University (now Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University) in the year 1973. The date of college’s conversion into a constituent unit is 1st April 1978. The college was handed over to the Bhagalpur University on 13th January 1981. The university took its all liabilities and assets and the college converted into a constituent unit of the university. After the establishment of a dedicated university for Santal Pargana region, the college has been approached to function under it.
