Nilgiris Supermarket

Good place but fruits are expensive like gold, I could not believe that apples will be 320/kg. In Delhi apples were 80/90 sometimes 70 in the end hours. Overall I'm happy because of this store. Because this is the only nearby option for me to get my food stuff. It is in apposite front of the Jail and next to Paul's creamy. Not too crowded even on weekends only 4-5 people's were there.

Avoid this shop at any cost. They have lot of items which are either expired or nearing expiry. I had multiple experiences. We as consumers can't always look at expiry date of every products before buying. The good thing is they are ready to admit mistake and replace it if we question them. But it's again waste of time and money. So be cautious. Also most of the vegetables and fruits are above market price. They have ample parking space and staff.

Though I am a regular visitor @ this store, would like to specially mention an experience i had on my last visit. Had to wait longer than usual @ the billing counter though there was only one customer in front of me then. When i was about to leave after my billing, the staff in the counter remembered to apologize for the delay which is a very rare gesture especially in busy supermarkets like this .. I forgot to take her name neverthless she has made a difference :)

Small but well stacked. Wife liked it. So no complains
