Thrikkakara Temple - located in God's own country is the place of origin and celebration centre for the most pious festival of Kerala, ONAM. ud83dudc18ud83cudf34⛩ufe0fnnI was mesmerized to be at a place which has witnessed the origin of such a fascinated festival. ud83cudff5ufe0fnnI felt the hidden devotee in me, dancing to the tune of peace, relaxation and tranquility. ☮ufe0fnnNo wonder, the place was like a rehabilitation center, which healed me with just a sight of it. ud83dude07nnIt gave me calmness to such extend that when I try to express, I get lost and hypnotised with the feeling of being there and fail to express, no matter how hard I try. ud83dudd06nnNow I wonder, why they call Kerala as God's own country ! ❤ufe0f

The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu in the form of Vamana.. Onam festival has got significant importance here as the festival originted from Vamana avathar

Beautiful temple of Vishnu bal avatar Vamana. There is shiva, parvati, Ganesh and karthik temple as well. Open till morning 10:30 am in morning.

In case you are looking to go to a serene place not too far away from the noisy city....then Thrikkakara Vamana Moorty temple is the place. Years old temple and the deity is dressed up so simple but sooo well that it leaves you wanting to visit the temple more often. Siva temple is the first that you offer your prayers to as soon as you enter.nParking is never a problem.
