This Department is functioning with two M.Sc. Programmes ( in Biotechnology and Microbiology) with 15 seats each. They also have PhD programme in Life Sciences. The faculty members are all qualified research guides with years of experience. The laboratories are well equipped with good facilities. The admission for M.Sc. programme is based on an entrance exam and interview. More than 80 research publications were brought out from this Department in reputed peer reviewed international journals.
