18 battalion में स्थित एक मन्दिर है जो हिन्दू धर्म में हनुमान को समर्पित हैं 18 battalion एबी रोड पर स्थित है जो माधव राष्ट्रीय उद्यान के सामने है शहर से 6 किलो मीटर दूर बिजली आपूर्ति केंद्र के नज़दीक स्थित हैं आवागमन हेतु बस और निजी वाहन।चंबल में डकैती की समस्या से क्षेत्र को मुक्त करने के उद्देश्य से मध्य प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा अधिसूचना संख्या 2415-2751- B (3) दिनांक 8/8/1963 के माध्यम से बटालियन की स्थापना की गई थी।nBattallion was established through the notification number 2415-2751- B(3) dated 8/8/1963 by the government of Madhya Pradesh for the purpose of freeing the region from dacoity problem in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. In the year 1971 the Battallion was declared as India Reserve Battallion and was centrally sponsored by Government of Indian and hence it was sent to different regions of Gujarat, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. The Battallion was sent to Nagaland in 10/71 for the Naga Operation under the supervision of the then Commandant Mr. GS Gill and its headquarters was set up at Maram, Nagaland. The Battallion remained operational in Nagaland till 1973. During this period the battalion, under the supervision of the Indian Army played an important role in defeating the Naga rebels. In 1974, the Battallion was stationed in the state of Assam to tackle the issue of foreign invasion and Extremism where Dispur became its headquarters of the battalion. Despite facing many hardships during this period the officers and the personnels of the Battallion displayed exemplary character in the fulfillment of their duties. In the year 1971 the Battallion was declared as India Reserve Battallion and was centrally sponsored by Government of Indian and hence it was sent to different regions of Gujarat, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
