Better consult your ward before joining the institute because the place is expensive to opt for the engineering and if they really want to opt for their engineering career. Rushing to this institute right after +2 completion is really not desirable. For Computer Science enthusiasts if you didn't have any prior engineering knowledge during the +2 or during school time then you definitely need to take a course in java or c before joining this institute.

Never take admission here.nYou regret very much after joining it.n24th in the University category, 32nd in the Engineering category, 21st in Medical Colleges.nThe SOA has always been striving for excellence in whatever it plans to do, be it teaching, research or development of technology. The SOA is aware of its social responsibilities as well. I congratulate the faculty, students and all other staff for their untiring effort to keep the SOA flag flying high. It is my pleasure to note that the placement of students of this SOA in the public and private sectors including industries has also been a heartening feature. The SOA has made steady progress and continues to do so in the areas of academics with emphasis on intellectual enrichment and growth. I hope the SOA expectations and achievements may reach a meeting point soon to the satisfaction of all.nEducared in Orissa Veterinary College, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India (B.V.Sc.& AH 1960) and University Of Maryland , College Park, Md.
