Maa Budhi thakuraani is the presiding deity of Angul Town. Her temple is situated on a huge MONOBLOCK black granite rock. In subsequent years scores of temples dedicated to different Gods and Goddesses have been constructed here. Out of these the huge temple of Lord JAGANNATH is conspicuous.
