Cove Lake State Park

This a great place to go for a picnic, a walk or to let the kids play. If you like to fish I seen several places that would be great to stop and fish. There is a couple of fantastic walking trails and a pretty decent playground for the kids. This location has plenty of areas to stop and eat or chill. There is covered shed areas and grill and table spots. Overall this is a great place to visit on a warm pretty day or otherwise.

Great little park, has volleyball courts, and an old baseball daimond that isn't that great since there's no dirt in it but it serves it's purpose and would be awesome for kickball. The shelters are first come first serve which is nice and the lake serves as a great back drop for pictures etc. Also there is a bike path which you can run and cycle on. And they have a basketball court here as well to get pick up games going. The tennis courts are pretty good as well and they bathrooms were clean. Good park.

Nice quiet place. Lots of walking/ biking trails.

The campground is very nice. It is kept very clean. Hoping there was going to be a little store at the campground, but there isn't. This could possibly still be due to Covid. If you like to fish, it is very good for that. Been having fun catching a lot of Bluegill. Some would have been big enough to eat. Good experience.

Ranger Cross was leaving for supper when we pulled in, he turned right around and found us the perfect spot. The showers ud83dudebfwere good size, clean and had hooks for your clothes. I'm just sitting on the lake shore watching the fish ud83dudc1f jump.
