Tennessee State Parks

My wife and I have enjoyed many of our beautiful state parks!!! Please enjoy them and take advantage of all the beauty they offer. Get back to nature

Great park

Please allow Tennessee residents drone users the right to enjoy our parks as much as others. It's ridiculous we can't enjoy and take pictures the same as someone with a camera.

I enjoyed a few minutes at the Bicentennial Mall, waiting on my dears to finish having dinner downtown. After walking through the park I sat on one of the short walls that backs the Tennessee Amphitheater. Before long I noticed a ranger coming my way, from a distance. Somehow I knew he was coming to me although he snuck around behind me. He walked up and told me we cannot have anyone sitting on the wall, for safety reasons. He made me get down. So, beware the ranger whose job it is to police wall-sitting at this park. If you sit on one of the walls, he will bravely come and make you move. And why shouldn't he? This is a police state. The park belongs to the police. I won't be going back.
