Camp Dakota

This place was a blast. We played paintball, 36 holes of disk golf (went around twice), practiced our archery and threw some tomahawks. It was a long day, but it sure was fun. Paintball field is big. We stayed the night before in a deluxe tent, which did have two lanterns and the beds were comfier than the ground. Great place for a family or group of friends to retreat to for a few days.

We stayed 5 nights at camp dakota, and thoroughly enjoyed it! With all the activities, and the beads we could earn for completing tasks (that are relevant and fun for all ages) we were not idle long! Rock climbing was a huge hit for the kids, as was treasure hunting, paintball, archery and more. The best part was the extremely friendly and helpful staff. They work very hard to keep this place very clean, and very family friendly. Think outdoor school on steroids for the whole family... or summer camp that meets the needs and excitement t of kids and parents TOGETHER. I cant wait to go back, and we plan to have a company retreat here this summer if we can get booked before everything is full!nThere is zero cell service there, so our radios were game changers. Pack hiking boots!

Our family went for my sons 13th birthday. Everyone had an great time. Flash and double trouble were the best tour guides on the zip line and shadow was amazing with my 7 year old on the tenderfoot course. All the boys had a blast with paintball. Friendly and helpful staff all around! Memories we will have forever.❤❤❤❤

I stayed there for 2 nights. It was so peaceful. My camping spot was very spaceious. It was pretty neat to see people zippling from a few feet from us. The paintball area was so much fun. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I like the fact that each Camp Dakota member had a Camp Dakota shirt with a nickname.

Very fun place to camp. There is never a dull moment. Activities were awesome for my 7 and 12 year old girls. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Campsites were clean and pretty big with a table and fire pit. No swimming area at camp site but great place to go swimming is just 8 miles down the road. I would definitely recommend camp dakota to people with families who like to go camping. Lots of staff and a very safe place for kids to just hang out and have fun.. Thank you to all the staff at camp dakota for making this weekend so amazing...
