One of my favorite places to camp. The water is so clear. We kayak here after the summer. No longer that crowded. The waterfalls are beautiful too. Friendly staff. Clean restroom. Awesome place. Coming back soon. The camp site is just near the water. Boat ramp is available to launch kayak and canoes. This is South Carolina' s beautiful lake. We cant wait to go back soon.

Ranger Tom made all the difference! Wonderful weekend and great experience. Our family traveled from Florida to spend Mother's Day weekend camping. We brought a car top tent not realizing this was not allowed at the campsite. We also expected electric outlet access. We arrived after 5 pm and the office was closed. We were headed to an Airbnb until Ranger Tom hooked us up with the only RV site left available and made our weekend a complete success. Thank you very much!!!!!

It's a great place to go spend the day, the weekend, or a few weeks. They have something for everybody. You can camp with the luxuries of power hook-ups and bathhouses; or if roughing it is a little more your style, they also offer primitive campsites. There's a swimming area where no boats are allowed. Separate parking for single vehicles and vehicles with a boat trailer. They even have a gift shop. Me, I like to do a little night fishing. I could tell you so much more, but I'm sure that Google maps has a rambling limit. Go check out their website. Come on up & have fun & be safe.

Had a good time.nSeems that the problem is when you have a large group, with multiple vehicles. Things get turned around.nPaying 20$ per vehicle to park in overflow per night is a bit excessive.nWouldn't it be better to just rent a parking space and have a couple of vehicles parked on just the one space. I mean every space is set up for a huge truck and boat to park.nOverall it was a great weekend.nWe paddled and stayed in the tent area. It was clean and comfortable.nA larger hot water heater would be nice. Staff is was friendly and kept everything by the book.nWould I go back, YES.

Loved this park! Tons of space to get away and nice area to swim. The lake is amazingly beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. Plenty of room to park and even convenient dumpsters for your trash. Very clean and beautiful park. I can't wait to go back.
