I'm writing the review after my second time visit to the college. I do not know much about the class rooms but overall environment is decent. The teachers are experienced in their respective fields as I know very well from the online classes. As it is a state- government college, the fees are affordable. I shall edit as I get to know more.

One of the oldest Govt. college in West Bengal. Situated in the banks of hooghly River. Teaching as well as non teaching staffs are very good and knowledgeable.

Hooghly Mohsin College (HMC) began on 1 August 1836 as the New Hooghly College. It was established by Muhammad Mohsin who also started other colleges. On its 100th anniversary it was renamed Hooghly Mohsin College. It became affiliated to University of Calcutta since the latter's initiation in 1857. After the establishment of the University of Burdwan in 1960, the college became its constituent college.
