Kapasdanga Roybazarcolony Sub Post Office

This unit of Indian postal service, is a sub unit, under Hooghly Post office. Our family, like many other locals, are long time customers of this branch. But the Dept. of Posts, hasn't shown much interest, towards upgrading the office and its infrastructure. There are no consumer friendly service, in this campus viz. drinking water kiosk, indiapost payment bank atm, sufficient sitting facilities for waiting customers, fanning facilities for summer season. Even the internet facilities, are very weak and unstable, adding to the misery of the customers. You have to have a lot of patience, getting service. But in this scenario of evaporating interest rates in banks and rising taxation for the salaried citizens and sr. citizens, the India post schemes are the only hope for a dependable savings option, with a secure and stable return.
