Kuravi veerabhadra swamy temple situated in mahabubabad district. An age old temple of lord shiva who is known as Veerabhadra swamy. Very very spacious with other small temples like navagraha temple, durga devi temple, lord hanuman temple etc., you can see monkeys running around here and there. There is also a place for cows and bulls you can feed them. As cows are considered sacred in Hinduism.nGood road connectivity. Carry tour own food and water. There are stalls surrounding temple where you can buy coconuts, puja items, and also shop for bags , small small idols of gods and goddesses, plastic toys, brass items etc, you can find tea stalls tea is tasty and good as ginger is added to the decoction.nn*** A little more Neatness needs to be maintained. Apx. 40 kms away from this temple is gunjedu where godess musalamma temple is located just next to the main road. Surrounded by thick forest. You can travel either by gudur forest or kothapet forest range. You will find sign boards with the concerned police department sub inspector and c.i. number. I suppose in case of emergency you can contact them. As of today temple is closed for public the reason being tigers are roaming over here. Some villagers even claimed to have seen them. every friday there is heavy rush at the temple. This is the second largest 'jatra' (festivity) next to sammaka and sarakka 'jatra' in telangana state. Tribals perform puja. Good connectivity. No food or even a cup of tea available. Carry your own food and water. No steps wheelchair accessible. Lovely drive through the forest.nn***from gunjedu if you travel a few more kms you can see bheemuni padam a lovely waterfall in the jungle. An adventurous place at pakahal wildlife sanctuary.
