It is govt college n one of the oldest in the city. Once upon a time it maintained a reputation for education standards and its dedicated, qualified n experienced faculty. It is the practice in AP state, for that matter in india, that government educational institutions are put to all kinds of work thus the faculty, management and even pupil face tremendous pressure from the govt who apply undue tactics to show and establish their authority. In the process the very purpose of the institution, education, takes back seat. Despite Funds, facilities, intelligent pupil etc... these institutions would not flourish, become dummies, due to the over interference of multiple govt authorities/agencies in day to day routine also. So, except the institution's excellent physical appearance , it is disabled invisibly to perform exceptionally well in its very purpose.nI'm sorry, my opinion may not taste well for some. But it is the reality.
