Very big and specious temple of godess Karthyani..nI came here for my friends wedding.. so visited Kerala's temple first time, in Cherthala..nVery peaceful and quite place..nNice architecture.. I loved their wooden work in the temple..nIt's located at center of Cherthala town...nBest time to visit this temple is early morning or evening time..so that you can attend prayer in the temple..

Big Temple right next to KSRTC Bus Stand Cherthala, the Temple is famous during the yearly Utsavam with Chendamelam and Fireworks.

This temple is famous for the main idol, Devi Karthyayani, and is one of the main places of worship in Cherthala. Interestingly, the name Cherthala has something to do with this goddess. Very vast area. Also has Shiva, Ayyappa, Vishnu as deities. Very beautiful. And filled with roosters. Grains to feed these roosters also provided
