This is a very popular Temple... you can visit any one temple in Kerala as Kerala temples have their own architecture and cultural heritage ....I recommend this Temple because it is very huge.. the temples keep elephants as their pet so you have two elephants there in the temple... you can feed them and play with them .. there is a big pond inside the temple where people bath in the morning... The temple is small the main temple where the goddess is placed and the whole Kerala temples are lit with big big Dias which is divine and beautiful to watch special in the evening...

Well maintained and structured without any distortion of classical antiquity. There is a rest place to stay pilgrims along with temple pond. The renowned stage of royal bard Kunjan Nambiar still exist here, looks headed to concerts which reminds us time of the glory and pride that once existed. surroundings are very neat but parking issue is there still.

Try going around 12-1 pm you may get Palpayasam(A sweet dish like pudding) which the best in India. And is the highlight of the temple. Build in the old typical Kerala style is best for the architecture if you love history .nYou can also find elephants in the temple which is an attraction to children. Has considerable ground and seating area.
