Hidden GemnSites are tight, but the ones over looking the river are worth it. We camped there in September 2020 and had a site along the Ohio River. We had our 2 German Shepherds with camping with us. We brought our Jet Skis and rode on the river for two days. I had pulled a muscle in my back when we first arrived. The camp hosts were super nice to us and brought our firewood to my site. The showers were nice and clean (especially for a city park). We had a great time and I look forward to going back.

Very friendly and helpful camp host! And the facilities, though a bit old, were nice and clean.

Always enjoy a relaxing time overlooking the Ohio River at the Madison City campground. Camp host Randy is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed many times and look forward to each trip there!

Only RV Camping. Has a bathhouse. No tent camping.

i had to cancel 6 days prior to my arrival for Camping due to putting my Dually truck in shop for some repairs that I was unable to control parts had been ordered by Mechanic and would not be in on time to make camping trip so I called soon as I knew we could not make it was told I would be charged 30 dollars for cancelling which I think is out of hand fee for something I could not control my family has camped there for several years and this will be our Last time booking campsite there the camping attendant there is not a people person to deal with either with dealing with the public. other campsites I had checked with allow you to cancel with a 24 hour notice with a 10 dollar fee which is more in line.
