I had visited this office to send many of my packages to my hometown. Upon reaching the staff informed me that they will inspect the contents of the package and only then will i be able to pack each box up, and post it. This is a rule. I had about 10 big boxes, packed and sealed with stretch wrap to waterproof them as I was posting it during monsoons. The staff sitting outside refused to budge no matter how much I requested them, or tried to make them understand how tedious the job of unpacking-packing would be, also the transportation cost from my home to the post office, extra hassles, time limitations etc. This wouldn't be necessary if there was a scanner present to check the rough contents. At the end, one worker advised me to speak to the post master. And so i did. I requested him to help. I was in a dilemma - i couldn't take the boxes back. I appealed to him to find a possible solution and the gentleman that he was, he helped me out. I was indebted to him and the staff for making the process easier for me.

The office number is out of service which is pathetic and the given postal address of this Post Office is also incorrect..can anyone give me the correct contact number and full address of Azad Nagar Post Office..it's very important as I am not in mumbai so I can contact them through these mediums only help me please

The staff posted at this post office are so dutiful and dedicated that it feels so good to interact with them. Always cooperative and friendly. It is always a pleasure to be there.

The officers are not so friendly and are very rude. Don't give answers properly. Even the landline phone number published by them is always kept on engaged so that they don't get any calls from the customers. Very very disappointing service. Not at all acceptable.

Visited today 2 withdraw cash from SB account but couldn't do so in spite of cash was therein post office. 4 to 5 staff members were present just for sake of presence but without doing anything. Answer is the staff who handles SB account is staying in virar and absent..pathetic. instead keep them.close
