In the year 2005, NBSHM (NORTH BENGAL SCHOOL OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT) started its Franchisee at Upper Johnson Hatta, Sonada, Darjeeling. Whose Main Centre was situated in Siliguri at Hakim Para, West Bengal it was affiliated with Vinayaka Mission University of Salem Tamilnadu in the year 2006. On 18th of May 2012, NBSHM has changed its identity viz.NBIHM (NORTH BENGAL INSTITUTE OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT), which has been Regd. under Govt. of West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961, NBIHM Is the authorised study centre Of Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya.
