Athithi Ashram

Serene atmosphere with clean surroundings and good hospitality. It's a non profit organization. Admission allowed from 4.30 am to 9.30 pm only Timings for breakfast lunch and dinner are strictly followed.

We were very glad to have spent time at Atithi and to be able to retreat from the manic-ness of Tiruvannamalai!

Very serene atmosphere and clean & neat surroundings & accomodation. Basic in nature but when one comes to tiruvannamalai & Ramana ashram luxury is least of their concerns. As they believe in not wasting any food, they are very strict with adherence to the timings & expect the inmates to give prior information if they don't wish to eat any meal at the ashram. The price is all inclusive of accomodation, & 3 meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner). They also provide morning & evening Tea/Coffee. This place is at a walkable distance from Ramana Ashram & is perfect for people who come for a quiet time of meditation at Ramana Ashram.

If you are from Andhra Pradesh or a Telugu person..this can suit u very much for accommodation and food. Decent stay.

The cost here is atronomical(700/- per person per day). But the experience seems to be good.
