This sure is one of the best picnic spots in Assam ,the waters are so clear and cold ,a step into them is relaxing enough ,along with such calm and serene beauty of the hills and surroundings.nBoating is available at certain times ,mostly during the picnic season.nIt was a bike ride from Guwahati and every bit view of the road was enjoyable...

A beautiful place to visit for the nature lovers. Connectivity to the place has been improved quite a lot. I have not enquired in details but there are services which provides trekking and rafting activities. Best time to visit this place is during off picnic season, as the place remain less dense with people.

To begin with, it's beautiful. An abode in the nature's lap. Far away from the hustle bustle of people's daily life, this beautiful place feels like a blessing for our tired souls. You can feel the adrenaline rush by either taking the Zipline or by choosing to raft and conquer the rapids of the river. In plain terms, you can not only breath in the oxygen here, but the serene beauty of this place as well. Or you can choose to camp at the place and stare at the night sky while admiring how peaceful this place can get once the night sets in. A must visit.
