Went there for aadhar update. Nobody was ready to share the form to update aadhar. After interacting with 6 staff, they provided a register to make an entry. The appointment date shared with me is 5 months from now. The post master said they were overloaded with work and so my turn would come after 5 months only. However, I could see at least 4-5 staff were doing just gossip and nothing else. Not sure why is this not privatized. At least, they would do some work then.

Very nice people.nBut the only catch is you have to be patient.nDon't go in rush, Go there present your query and for sometime. They will get back to you. There other customer in line too.

The Yerawada Post Office building is housed in an old style cottage with a sloping roof covered with Mangalore tiles. It gives the office building a nice rural ambience in the crowded city. It is located just opposite the Golf Course, and near to the Yerawada Central Jail. All the normal mailing services plus Speed Post and Post Office banking facilities are available. It opens at 8 am. Parking is available on the road outside. Staff is limited but the service is coureous.
