Sheesh Mahal Desert Camp & Spa - Best Luxury Desert Camp - Hotel & Tent in Jaisalmer

I am highly disappointed with my stay at this place. I went with family and it was my first time to visit camping at Sam Desert. I was not expecting such disappointment.nnWe reached this place around 3.30 pm from Jaisalmer. This camp site is inside around 500m from Sam road and you don't see any Sign board on road like other camp site so its little confusing to find this place. We need to finally call camp site to know how to reach and they guided us over the phone. It is exactly behind Sultan Camp site which is one of famous camp site here.nnAfter reaching and check-in we found there was no one in camp site only us. Tent was nice and big enough for family of 3. Attached bathroom is not that good it was okay condition.nnManger here guided us what all activities are available at camp site with charges and time like Camel Safari, Jeep Safari in San Dunes. They were highly costed. He told us 800 for Camel Safari and 2000 for Jeep safari which was too high compare to what you can get outside.nnIn evening i asked him if they can transfer us any other camp site being we were only one here. He lied and said no we do have 4-5 families but hey have gone outside for Safari and expect to come by 7pm but no showed up even until our check-out time next day :)nnFood quality for high tea, dinner was so below average and service was not at all good. We slept in tent without light entire night. Temperature was around 8-9 degree when we visited, we even did not get hot water in morning.nnDon't go for this ever. You will find plenty around Sam road and always look for camp site which is across Sand Dunes so anytime you can walk and go into dunes as this is the only attraction available here rest is all desert.nnSuggestion -Just walk and don't do any advance booking there are many available options and by visiting you will actually end-up booking nice camp site.nnI hope this review will help my traveler friends and camp site management to improve there services for future business.
