Sree Rakthakanta Swamy is famous ayyapa temple in Pathanamthitta. The omalloor temple is famous for its annual festival for 10 days in the month of may and for elephants arattu during the festival time. This temple is featured in the historic books. During the time of Sabarimala season this temple is treated as edathavalam.
