Thirunakkara Sri Krishna Swamy Temple, also called the South Guruvayoor Temple, is situated near the Thirunakkara Mahadeva Temple in Kottayam. Lord Krishna is the chief deity worshipped here. Lord Ganesh and Goddess Bhagavati are sub-deities.nAbhishek, homam, archana and naivedyam are the main offerings. An annual seven days festival, 'Araattu', held here is a major draw. An impressive part of the festival is a palanquin with floral decorations. Lord Krishna temple, they do very dedicated Annadanam, the temple have huge pond with Tortoise and huge white red, black fishes. Just next to Shiva temple and KBSM
