Kolhapur

It is the district headquarters of Kolhapur district. Prior to Indian Independence, Kolhapur was a nineteen gun salute, princely state known as Kolhapur State and was ruled by the Bhosale Chhatrapati (Bhosale royal clan) of the Maratha Empire.

Chhatrapati shahu Maharaj terminus Kolhapur is the main railway station in Kolhapur district. Many expresses and mails are departures from Kolhapur. This is most clean station.....

Less traffic other Cities. And atmosphere is so cool

Excellent city with clean road. Good transport available.nnHad a good experience.
