As i am the student of this university pursuing Ba journalism 3yr ..if i wanted to rate this university into 10 then i rate this university 2 star because of administration & management of this university is 3 class... faculty is also not upto the mark ..explore more option rather then dav University ,jalandhar

Place has become much better with time in terms of looks . Although frequent authority student clashes cause a problem . Sometimes authorities force a decision on students which has resulted in strikes in past.nPlace is easily accessible during the day ( winters evening can be a real problem ) . University is out of city and reports of girls teasing is alot more common ( as said by almost every girl students i interacted ).nnBuildings are good , furniture , labs , equipments and rooms are great in comparison to any another college / university.nnInner eating is in a restricted manner ( don't have much good options ) , although lots of updations are being made with time.nnGo with the department wise reviews because majority faculty ( especially in maths department ) is temporary which is a really bad for students , new faculty is late in joining and not much study is done thereby. Most permanent good teachers leave this university on getting better opportunities which creates a problem to students .nnI've witnessed some rude behaviour on behalf of authorities with parents as well as students and have seen students crying , suffering with anxiety. Mental health is not much respected ( in some departments ) .nnUniversity has time to time issues with certifications ( agriculture department shall check into this ) . Also check that if university provides a proper degree at the end of your course ( cause I've not seen one single degree , all they provide is a certificate and DMC and not the PROPER COMPLETE DEGREE CERTIFICATE ) .nnWould not be a first priority for education.nnAlso , if any authorities read this , please look into these matters as these are some common problems that students face and are not always brought infront of administration.

I do not like this university.it is one of my biggest mistake to take admission in it.in starting days i was very depressed due to this uni structure,poor good ,no help in fees for poor students,.it only wants money otherwise give u a big fine.

So good university to study. All kind of courses are available.
