During the modern times, the sacred Bhimgoda Kund plays an important role in regulating the excess water of River Ganges that flows into the Bhimgoda Tank

It is in good condition but there is a tunnel which used to connect directly to Ganga river and water of Ganga used to come in this kund directly but now days it's completely choked.
