It's one of the worst experiences I have had in a temple. To begin with, just to enter the premises, you have to pay Rs. 100. If you wish to enter the temple, that's an additional Rs. 100 Then whether you want it or not, they will assign you a pujari, in our case, a kid not older than 12. While doing puja, he demands Rs 1000 for something, not sure what. We brought it down to Rs. 200 Then after the puja, he asks for Dakshina, which is another Rs. 100 after negotiation. Then he asks for Brahmin bhog. In the 15 mins we were in the temple premises, these guys demanded money atleast 50 times. It is an absolute disgrace for a place of worship. I will strongly recommend never to visit this place.

Horrible experience, they are asking ₹300 to enter into the temple premises. When fought and shouted to call police, they gave a side to enter into the premise but closed the door of the temple. They are demanding money even for doing namaskara from outside.

Chandaneshwar is famous for a Shiva temple in Chandaneswar, Baleswar, Odisha. A huge annual fair in the Solar New Year Pana Sankranti, the first day of the Odia calendar, is celebrated on the premises. Many Indian pilgrims visit the temple during this period.

Lord Shiva is the presiding deity of the temple. People mostly locals & from west Bengal used to visit to get the grace of Lord Siva
