Great place for a day trip from Bangalore. Even elder family members can visit the temple as there is not much stairs etc. The only thing is parking is in a small area and you may not get parking if going on a crowded day. Best to visit before 7AM.

It was amazing to see the sculptures. Painting on the ceilings were still visible even after so many centuries. Road from Bangalore is in excellent condition. Overall a nice weekend visit.

The temple is rich in heritage and is fairly clean and tidy. Drove down from Bangalore and the roads are absolutely brilliant all the way till the temple. There is no entry fee but parking is paid. Be careful of the monkeys as they tend to grab your belongings.

Awesome temple... Stone carvings are simply beautiful. You can find Sita foot. Most of hanging pillars are attached with mortar at the bottom except one. Cannot visit this in summer time. The stone will be too hot to walk. Entire temple is on a rock. Must visit. One can spend whole day admiring the carvings and knowing the story behind them.

Excellent drive for about 140kms from Bangalore. If you are looking to spend some time on the road with your loved ones, this might just be the place. The temple is nice and old with a levitating pillar being the centre of attraction. Overall quite pleasant.nTip: try to visit the place early in the day to avoid crowds.
