Very peaceful and nice shiv temple. Mostly it is calm here; therefore you can spend quality time in the temple. In the temple, we can find a big Shiva idol and Shiv linga with statues of other god and goddess. Nearby we can find Newly created Navgreha temple. This temple is my favourite choice when I was in Ropar. There are many temples around; however, mostly they are very crowded and you feel slightly uncomfortable because of this. I reached this temple by chance because I was late and don’t want to visit this city. After visiting this temple for the first time, it became my first choice for a temple. In the Hindi religion visiting temples is a routine job and we often visit them. However a person like me always look for quite and peaceful temples so that I can spend some good time while praying to the God. This temple offers everything which a Hindi devotee may like. From a pipal tree to a Hanuman statue, we can find everything here. Outside the temple, we can find a big Banyan tree. This temple is just a walking distance from the old bridge on the Satluj river when we move from Ropar to Balachaur side. This temple is situated adjacent to a famous Gurudavara situated on the bank of Satluj river.
