The Manohar, Hyderabad

Went there for an engagement ceremony of my cousin. Its a nice place to have small ceremonies like engagement or even office conference. They have nice interiors. Have lawn at the back where Dinner/Lunch arrangements can be done. The one thing and important thing that disappointed me was their washroom. They have a very shady wash room with no proper light. There is only one toilet in ladies washroom which is not properly maintained and clean. They can improve on it.

A hotel just about ready to bite the dust. The entire place seems to be last maintained almost a decade ago.nRooms are big and spacious but hardly anything works. The fitments are worn out, flush doesn't work, drains are clogged, bathtubs leak, ac doesn't cool, hot water shower throws chilled water, sofas are stained, bulbs are missing, doors don't lock, curtains are held from falling off their channels by cigarette packet inserts and the tiles are broken.. phew that was a long list..nWait, I am not finished.nnStaff is courteous but don't have the basic sense of time. You ask for a towel and it takes them half a day. Same with water, bedsheets and any other request. Wearing a mask or gloves and sanitizing are not even part of their agenda. We stayed 2 days and nobody bothered to ask making the room. And yes..They have probably sold off the refrigerators from the mini bar area to pay their employees.nnEven the hedges and trees have not been pruned in ages. It looks like a dilapidated mansion from within with pigeon poop liberally available on the window sills and the rest of the open area.nnYou MUST avoid this place specially during corona. All in all, not even the last place i would want to stay even if could save me from an apocalypse. One of the worst experiences i have had in a hotel in many many years. Why don't they consider shutting down once and for all.

I wanted to give 0 stars if it is possible.nnDo not waster your valuable money.nnLuxury star hotel by what means ?nnAc is not working (let me guess why! The occupancy was very low and they never turned ok the AC to designated temperatures)nnThe management decided to put two fans in my room saying Ac temperatures are down during the check in but the ac never worked all night. It was really suffocating.nnComing to the restroom it is a total disaster water is been stagnant and never really drained not the issue with the drain but flaw in the design.nnThe breakfast plates was observed with a tiny cockroach. I left my breakfast in middle.nnThe price they charged was no less than 5 star luxury hotel and the maintenance they been doing is miserable.nnThe only good thing in my stay was the service. I appreciate those guys.
