Liked the campus...it is bigger cleaned and highly maintained

It’s the worst university at present in the UT of J&K. I was a student of Bachelors for 4 long years here and with my experience, I’m eligible to say that the major focus made here is on futile works and study is the least concern for the University professors as well as for its management. You would not be able to meet the stakeholders like Dean, Director at the time when you need it the most because they’ll come at their own times which only they better know. In every case be it of N.O.C or P.D.C the precious time of students is made to waste here by directing them to complete futile formalities which are of no use and just for one sign of Dean FOA students have to wait for long 1-2 days and it can even expand to 1 week. Nothing happens in this University on time. For our final year batch of 90 students it took them 3 long months to declare result, in comparison to this SKUAST K did it in just 20 days. The University charges from students funds of everything including water but still the condition of every amenity is deplorable. It’s rank is continuously going down as per the rank declared by Indian Council of Agriculture and Research ( ICAR ). In 2016 it’s rank was 7, In 2017 it plundered to 16, In 2018 it further plundered to 25, In 2019 it's not even in the list of 70 ranked Universities which means it has fallen beyond 70. Further majority of the professors are not cooperative here. I would recommend to everyone to not come here to study as it’s like wasting your precious time as well as hard earned money.

Never try to go there they will hang u in the middle of everything whether it is exams or the NOC at the end,they want unnecessary things to be completed not the real thing ,not worth the money, trust me i studied there.

SKUAST JAMMU IS a budding University, having very beautiful and well maintained campus. The young and highly literate faculty trying hard to bring the University as one of the top 10 in Agriculture University of India......
