See this college is ultimate on the basis of education....nnWhy ultimate!!! As for the students who are able to secure more than certain !GPA! ( 7.5 per sem currently ) don't have to pay fees for that sem as well as can buy academic books at free of cost upto a certain amount ( Rs 3000 currently).....nnSo this college is literally heaven! for very poor students with great potential....nnEven if you don't manage to get it, fees is still low ( Rs 48400 per sem currently )... ( which includes everything such as hostel, tution, food etc )nnAs it is recently arrived ...nSo this college lag behind a lot in terms of entertainments and sports...nnHere almost all facilities are there related to education ...nnBut less focus on sports and entertainment facilities...nnHere food provided is much better than any institute of India...nnAt the beginning of my college days.. I used to have a feeling like... that the hostel's food is much better than my home ..nnOnly problem is that the same schedule of 7 days keeps on repeating.... So later on you will find the food quiet average... As now you are used to it ....nnBut that doesn't mean that the food provided here is bad .. It's the best you can get...nnInfrastructure is par above... So no need to worry... Hostel room is also good...nTwo students are alloted per room for B-Tech students...nnHere ragging rarely happens.....nnAs here administrators are so strict that they can even suspend you for more than months........over minor things like abusing juniors for fun........n..... So now you can imagine what are the punishments, college administrators give for higher level of ragging....nn( As I know much greater level of ragging that take place in other colleges, when you enter as a freshers, so for me it is literally quiet harsh punishment for such a small mistakes )nnSuch steps will be only taken, if the student who got abused or faced any other issues, reports it as a complaint in front of administrators.nnTo ensure no ragging, different year students have seperate hostel........n.... (That may be the reason why we see less junior-senior relationships as compared to other colleges).......nnHere the place is very clean and silent... Best for study.nnPlease Don't do the mistake by thinkingnIIST is inferior to IITs...nnFirst of all both are different in their own perspective ...nnI accept that it is not that popular .. And also recently arrived.....nnBut it is less popular because the student who get more than certain CGPA.... (7.5 till now) are directly enrolled in ISRO job......nnAnd it is obvious that very less company will come here to recruit the remaining students whose CGPA are less than (7.5)....nnSo that indicates here very few private companies come here for recruitment .......nnAlso in government job you should never expect very high package salary.....nSo money minded people do not come here to study....nnAnd some of the weird reasons may be as it is located in bottom part of kerela....nFor typical homesicky students.. You know!!nnBut in the end, here we are not only taught by IITians but also by those who are already working at ISRO and teaching us at the same time....nnSo now you can think how easily they can relate their topics with their work itself.....nnThat doesn't mean ofcourse!! that all teacher here are good in explaining their part.....nnBut considering the ratio, only 20 percent things you have to do by your own for your curriculum, If you are consistently studying and giving focus to lectures...nnAgain I am giving you a WARNING!!! .......nnPlease it's a request! thatnnDON'T COME HERE!!!nIf you want to ENJOY college life by doing OTHER THINGS rather than STUDY....nnAs most of the time you will find yourself busy in studies...n....!!! IFF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CGPA !!!....

If anyone wants to become a Scientist in ISRO, so it is the best institute in India as this institute totally dedicated to space science and technology. But it is mandatory for a student to maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 in all the semesters. If u able to maintain, then welcome to ISRO.

I am Krati Yadav, presently pursuing B .COM (Hons) from Indore Institute of Management and Research, after completing 12th I was looking for a college where I can get quality of education, good infrastructure, exposure in sports along with co curricular activities. When i came to the institute then after the counselling I decide to pursue my education from this institute. The best thing what i liked was the merit based scholarship, I secured high percentage in my 12th, this made me realize how the institute has taken care of good student and has also not ignored the remaining one. That really motivated me. I met DG sir who is really an inspiration for everyone and was surprised by his helpful behaviour has he lend his helpful hand to me. IIMR helped in enhancing my knowledge through the SIGs and gave me exposure of various other courses which I have never thought of. The CDC team has really helped me and my batch mates in developing my confidence level and communication skills. With the present placement trends I am confident that I will get a good placement from the college.
