Have been there when I was a kid.It was amazing to see the idol in the form of two palms.It is known as kaipathi ambalam.There is pond in its surrounding where the palms of goddess is said to have been appeared.

Very nice temple. Large area. First time visiting this temple. We were at complete peace. Awesome worship. All went well. There was a temple elephant on the side. We can see God's Hands. There is a story behind it. To share the truth, I will visit again next time, when I visit Kerala. Experiences cannot be said, but you will feel, the power of God.

Great feeling when I visited this Temple consecrating Emoor Bhagvathi with two open hands representing this powerful Goddess. The quiet surroundings, a big pond almost encircling the temple structure, the sheer style and design of pillars around, the open area on the front and the greenery all around lend an air of elegance and majesticity. This is about a km off the main road so it rests in an undisturbed environment. I would like to visit again and spend some moments of heavenly bliss and solace.
