Sri Emoor Bhagavathy Temple is also called Hemambika Temple. It is made for the goddess Hemambika. The people believe that the goddess had appeared in front of one of his devotees, and told her not to disclose her presence to anybody. But later on, the idol is seen with an “upraised hand” as God saw a group of people gathered, so she had vanished immediately. The deity has taken three forms: Saraswathi, Durga, and Laxmi.

The goddess is Hemambika. The Goddess is worshipped as Saraswathy in the Morning, Lakshmi at Noon and as Durga in Evening. Near by The very old Shiva Temple of Chendamangalam and the Shiva and Shastha Temple of Easwaramangalam are there.
