Gorakhnath temple is the biggest temple of lingayat sect in the world..nnThis is a multiple center , along with spiritual and religious center it's also known for welfare and health activities. The bhandara which provides free food , affordable school and hospital makes this temple a unique place.nnThere is a statue museum where we can buy books and idols..nnThe mandir have a huge campus and every year there is a famous mela organized during the makar Sankranti which is known khichdi mela in the native language .the mandir building is a great attraction for the art and architecture lovers .the laser show in the evening is a must watch .

I would give it 5 star cause there is cleanliness , you may worship or you may sit under bargad tree to relax this place is filled with peace , if you want you may ride a boat but the prices fluctuate here according to season

I just love this place too much because it is a very famous temple of our Gorakhpur...nI use to visit here in every month, everyone came here for devotion, prosperity and peace. I feel so relaxed whever i visit there and the lake also it is also famous and Heart of our city.
