With the construction of the Jagannath Temple in the outskirts of Dibrugarh, people seem to have forgotten this marble beauty. The temple compound had landscaped gardens a decade ago along with a working fountain and a mini waterfall. Due to its proximity to the Assam Medical College and Hospital it does get its fair share of devotees though. People wishing their ailing loved ones well also offer prayers here. Class photos of graduating batches of AMCH are also clicked in the staircase leading up to the prayer hall. Rumour has it that Lord Shiva made an appearance near one of the trees in the compound in the 70s (if I am not mistaken). Undoubtedly, Radhakrishna Temple is one of the most beautiful temples of Assam.
