No cleanliness. Much better management is expected for a temple with such historical and religious importance. Otherwise, it's certainly a must visit place. You get positive vibes just by entering the premises. Just amazing.

Janaki temple is the biggest and also one of the most beautiful temple of Nepal which is situated at Janakpur city the birth place of Sita. The temple is very beautiful with beautiful coutyard. Lot of beautiful and wonderful carvings can be seen in this temple. It is very colorful. Every day lot of people Hindu people come to worship the temple from different parts of Nepal and India and from other countries too. A must visit temple in Janakpur city. It's just located at the centre of the town so one can just walk around the areas near the temple through the colorful streets which is also lively.

Its an historical place of nepal. Its was the capital of mithila kingdom. King janak was the king of mithila as well as janakpur. Janaki mandri is famous for goddess sita. This mandir is also known as nine lakhs temple in nepali nau lakhe mandir. Its has its own looks and vibes. Peacefully environment. Beautiful mithila arts. There is a museum inside the temple where history if mithila explained. Its a great place to visit. Soon this temple will be in UNESCO world heritage.
