This regional post office is of alto porvorim area open all days except public holidays. If one needs to send Speed Post and outisde counter post office counter appears closed, they have an additional counter behind at sorting block area which opens at 04.00pm sharp and remains open till midnight everyday. so you can even deposit late evenings or at night.

Very very bad service,,,It seems that they do not have brains working inside peoples..ntaking 2 3 hours lunch brake.. no manners nothing..

Worst service .....they had told me to collect my letter from post as the door was locked within 7 days ....when I went around 4:10 pm they said it is closed at 4 pm n didn't even bother to help me ........ actually the timings of post is till 4:30 pm...n when I took leave from office specially for tht they told me Ur letter is delivered somewhere elsevby post man by mistakely n when the post man went to search he didn't cm to post for long time ...I had to wait for 3-5 hr at post n also didn't get my letter .... Post service is so wrost I hv never seen ......Indian post should tk strick action against this porvorim post branch ......staff is very bad ......doe does work properly ......

Good sub post office, same building hosts SRO RMS BM div. Just next to it is the Alto Provorim Holiday Homes for departmental employees.
