Very Quick to take your payment, very slow to respond when you need help. I called to ask for some information they passed me through 2 or 3 people and then it went to a voice mail. The person in the voice mail never return my call. UNFORTUNATELY, AS REALTOR HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STAY WITH THEM BECAUSE FOR SOME ODD REASON THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. THEY HAVE MONOPOLIZED THE MARKET.
An employee sent a housing application/contract with this Company labeled on it. Very irresponsible and didn’t send our rent to the specific landlord like originally planned. Landlord had to call multiple times before getting a hold of her for a month. Even asked my apartment mate and I last week that we didn’t pay moving in fee when we had valid proof and documents back in May 2019. I don’t know who trains these employees but very irresponsible and not organized. Normally don’t review companies but never came across this type of issue with a realtor not giving the landlord rent and move in fee on time.
Would completely agree with Otto's review. I also had an instructor who was a real estate lawyer (75-hour course), he went on constant tangents about irrelevant stories. Enough students were very upset and communicated to higher management about this issue. I definitely studied for the exam and signed up for exam smart just to give you an idea. I failed the exam, unfortunately.
Pat Murray was my instructor for the 15 hour real estate course. It would be a crime to recommend this course to anyone and I strongly urge anyone interested in real estate education to choose one of the numerous other options.nnPat Murray's arrogance was palpable throughout the entire course. His entire course is taught from his chair with no notes, visuals, or instruction. Pat's course and instruction style can be summarized as telling irrelevant stories for the entire duration of class while throwing in some condescending remarks here and there.nnPat was a real estate lawyer throughout his career, but whole heartedly believes hes a world class historian, CPA, agent, salesman, and mathematician and will stop at nothing to insult everyone around him to boost his own ego.nnThe course does not cover any aspects of being an actual agent. The actual closing process is never covered, interacting with the different parties is never covered, who all the parties and responsibilities are never covered.nnIf you take this course you will rely on your personal study of online resources to pass the exam. I whole heartedly believe I wasted two entire Saturdays in the course. The material is not difficult to understand or teach and while Pat does understand it, he utterly lacks the ability to teach it.
