The Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology Berhampore (previously known as the College of Textile Technology Berhampore) is a college of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly West Bengal University of Technology) in Berhampore, West Bengal, India. It is a residential and co-educational institute. Admission for undergraduate students is through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. This college is selected for TEQIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme), Phase II.

Being a student of this college no one explain the pros and cons of this college better than me. It is above average college in terms of infrastructure is concerned. There is faculty which is rich in their respective fields.Adequate availability of labs.Common Room is also available so that so that student can play in their free time. Hostel is only available for boys from 2nd year. No hostel is available for girls but there are many private hostels running in the near reach of the college for girls.Situated in the heart of the town it serves around 600 students across 4 years.Best for Textile Technology and average for rest of the branches.

GCETTB is the very good engineering college. Good infrastructure, good education quality, discipline maintenance. The Polytechnic or Diploma of Textile Technology is under West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development, and the B.Tech is under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The M.Tech in Textile is also available. Textile department is so good. Overall its a very good government engineering college.

A Government Engineering college. Following 4years degree courses are studied here Computer Science and Engineering, Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Only M Tech courses is available on Textile Technology. One if the oldest technical college of West Bengal. Environment of the college is very beautiful. This college situated on the most important place of the Berhampore town. Communication is very good.
