Maa Mandakini Arti Sthal

Mandakini Chitrakoot is sacred river worshipped by billions of Bhaktas. Aaarti is best experienced in a boat. Number of boats are available at the time of Aarti. Beautifully designed, decorated boats.

This is the place where Ganga Aarati is held in Ramghat. It is held on the bank of river Mandakini. I attended it recently. It started around 7.15 pm and lasted for about 10 minutes only. There were many people to witness the Aarati. People sat in the boats in the river and saw it comfortably. The Aarati is not in a grand scale when compared to those in Kashi or Rishikesh where it is done in a magnificent and unforgettable manner with 1000s of people watching it. Everybody should attend it if they visit Chitrakoot.
