Fakiragram College was established in the year 1994 in the western part of the Kokrajhar district, Assam. Spreading over an area of 56 Bigha of land the college is providing education both at the Undergraduate and Graduate level students at a nominal cost. The College is affiliated to the Gauhati University. It has also the study center of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHOUS).nnFakiragram College has a total of ten departments which are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Economics, Education, Folklore, Hindi, History, Library, and Political Science. The main Goals and Objectives of the College is better result and proper education. As the locality is not so well educated, thus the responsibility comes to us to do something better and the Chief Mission of this institution is to improve human resources of this rural and economically backward region of Assam and thereby to provide for the needs of the Society and the Nation.

I don't know the teaching of this college is good or not but the college is very active in co- curricular activities. They participate in almost all inter college games & sports. And one more thing, this is the only college in this locality which fulfills the need of education of this locality so this means a lot for the people of this region... But the college needs renovation, that's right.nThank You ud83dude4f
