Kharupetia is situated in Darrang District of Assam. It's a very neat and clean small city. It has all kinds of facilities available here, likely Education, health, business, Electricity, Hospitality, and some small industries also

Nice campus. But hygiene should me maintained in toilet. And campus should be clean without plastics, paper etc . Overall campus is good with ample no. Of trees which adds beauty to the campus

The place of calm and peace. The biggest educational institution of Kharupetia.It gives me immense pleasure and pride to be heading the Kharupetia College, one of the premier institutions of higher education in Darrang District. The college has gone on from strength to strength in spite of a few hurdles that it had faced in the past. In fact, it has recently been re-accredited by NAAC with 'B' Grade in the second cycle.

Kharupetia College is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Darrang District. The College saw the light of day as a result of untiring efforts of the far- sighted people of greater Kharupetia locality. Established in the year 1981, the college was taken over by the Govt. of Assam under deficit system of grants-in-aid w.e.f. 25/03/98. The college was provincialised by the Govt. of Assam w.e.f.n01/12/2005 vide Govt. notification No. LPG. 112/2005/158 dated the 19th December, 2005.nnThe College has been recognised under section 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956.nnAfufb01liated to Gauhati University, the college was assessed and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in October, 2004. The college imparts both Higher Secondary and Degree Courses in Arts and Commerce stream. The college has been maintaining excellent records of performance in different University and Council Examinations.

Kharupetia college is most one of the beautiful college in Darrang District. College campus is very Clean. Nice opportunity in Arts & Commerce But Toilet conditions is not too good.
