We purchased our home new in 2012. The so called 'Lifetime' GAF Timberline Shingles that came with it did not fair well in a hail storm that rolled thru in 2018. Using our insurance coverage and a $500 DECRA Storm Rebate was a perfect opportunity to replace and upgrade to a DECRA Shake XD system with relatively little extra out of pocket expense. The roof looks fantastic and our A/C costs have taken a nose dive! We also received a discount on our Homeowners Insurance.nnWe have received many compliments from our neighbors who regret jumping too quickly into contracts with Storm Chasers and settling for asphalt shingles. Many of them will not be making the same mistake next time Mother Nature decides to pay a visit to our area, and she will be back.

Few months ago, we ordered a Decra Villa Tile “Barrel-Shaped” panel samples deciding what color match our roof for our sidings. We called Ken Sorenson at Decra Customer Service for help. He even expedited shipping of the Tuscan Sun panel roof sample to us. When it comes to Customer Service, he is proven to be knowledgeable of the Decra Metal Roofing products. He is honest if there is a question that is out of his scope. Thank you, Ken, for your help.nnAt the same time, Moses C. at Decra Shipping Dept. is always available to answer my phone calls. DECRA is an incredible product. We put Decra Tile stone coated steel on our house in Dallas which is hit with hail often. I finally have no worries of future damage. The house is white brick with black trim and the charcoal color worked perfectly. The company has been great to work with and K-POST Roofing did an excellent and timely install. Finally, the warranty is fantastic - Lifetime transferable!

Our HOA requires stone coated steel shingles as the only replacement for the original wood shakes. We selected Decra XD as a replacement because we felt the direct to deck look mimicked the original shakes. Definitely not cheap but we feel that the roof will maintain value when we sell in 10-15 years and in the meantime should provide the necessary protection.

This is our 2nd house build with DECRA tile. I wouldn't build a house without this roofing system.
